- New cloud-based system that lets you log in from anywhere – Desktop, Smartphone, or Tablet
- Detection is now ultra-fine down to the nano range, and it also has a couple of new features supplying temperature and humidity
- Less Data Risk because it’s not based on WiFi. (it also won’t eat up your data)
KEMPER’s AirWatch sets new standards for air purification by using Cloud Technology:
KEMPER’s advanced air monitoring system can be integrated into environments even without accessible wifi or internet service to evaluate the amount of ultra-fine dust particles down to the Nano range. This makes precise monitoring of indoor air quality possible without the need to log into a corporate network. By connecting to an Internet-based cloud, different supervisors can monitor and operate the systems via fleet management (By logging in online they can view the air quality right at their desk!).
“AirWatch is the central tool to enable small and medium-sized metal-fabricating companies to achieve digital added value for their extraction technology,” says Björn Kemper, Managing Director of KEMPER GmbH: “Many production environments do not have sufficient digital infrastructure. Without an available network, AirWatch enables us to quickly establish self-sufficient machine-to-machine communication. ”
The AirWatch eliminates the need for any additional and costly investments into the digital infrastructure. This is also critical for companies that want to avoid further interference with their network due to possible data risks.
Ease of use with mobile network technology (Easy to use- Here’s why!)
This self-sufficient functionality is made possible by the integrated mobile radio technology. KEMPER currently equips all relevant products and devices with internet-based cloud technology to enable central control of all operating systems within the facility.
To effectively operate machine-to-machine communication, the air in production areas is constantly monitored by AirWatch’s highly sensitive sensor to detect even ultra-fine dust particles smaller than 0.3 microns. Programmable occupational exposure limits that are set to meet individual customer’s demands enable an efficient and fully automated use of extraction systems.
“By automating OSHA processes, we increase production efficiency by allowing employees to focus on their primary tasks,” explains Kemper. This machine-to-machine communication not only enables demand-driven plant operation but also cuts down on energy cost because of its most energy-efficient use.
Location-independent monitoring via mobile net or PC
The AirWatch monitoring system permanently transmits current pollution values and dust concentrations to the connected cloud management. The data can be monitored anywhere via a web browser on a smartphone, tablet or PC. The multi-level management system allows for customizable fleet management that can be accessed by companies, dealers, service providers, and manufacturers as needed.
AirWatch identifies the readings as an absolute amount of particles and the distribution according to their size but also calculates accurate weight-related values, as they are still relevant for limit values. As an added bonus, the new sensor technology now even detects temperature and humidity values. This gives decision-makers in production facilities a detailed picture of the air quality, its development in the production process and the benefits of extraction technology.
Kemper adds: “To make air quality equally transparent to production employees, AirWatch is equipped with a traffic light visualization for companies to present indoor air quality to their most valuable and most affected workforce. Our air monitoring system raises awareness of the value of clean ambient air and also has a positive effect on employee retention”.
